Kurtis has been around the shop for the last few years offering free polarity sessions and support to clients and friends in/around Evanston and we are happy to officially offer his Polarity services to you in 2026!

Hello friends and neighbors, I’m Kurtis!

Although my life has lead me to many different places around the United States, Evanston has always been a constant in my life and my family that has lived in and around Evanston for multiple generations.

In 2020, I “officially” started to shift out of my career in construction and enrolled in Southwest Institute of Healing Arts.

I am a certified Shamanic Reiki Master [lineage of Madam Takata, Phyllis Furumoto, Grandfather Stalking Wolf, Sun Bear, and Larry Mattingly].
I am also certified in Polarity and other modalities, but Polarity is where my passion currently lies.

I offer Polarity sessions on a sliding-scale basis.
45 minutes, $50-$100
90 minutes, $100-$150

I can use Shamanic Reiki and Polarity, or just one modality during our sessions. The choice is yours.

✨Polarity is a modality that works with cleansing and balancing (polarity) the body’s energy currents- the electromagnetic field. Energy currents run along and around our bodies like “super information highways”.
I act as a conduit, allowing universal energy to flow through, clearing out any unhelpful or unbalanced energies.

Polarity also works with the elements; air, fire, earth, water. Helping restore balance in a natural way that honors our experience as humans on this planet.
Polarity works with the first five chakras. Focusing on the mind and body, staying out of your spiritual process.

✨This work includes:
light to deep touch- above clothing, stretching, discussion around food intake and elemental support for your electromagnetic field.

✨This work can help with:
fatigue (chronic, cancer-related, and other), stress, anxiety, depression, osteoarthritis, pain, fibromyalgia, and many other conditions
