This past weekend, our SMHRF network came together for the NAMI Chicago Walk. A morning dedicated to raising awareness, showing support, and walking side by side for mental health.

We’re proud to have joined hundreds of others in this incredible movement, because we believe that supporting mental health means supporting our entire community.

👏 Congratulations to the Chicago NAMI chapter for raising nearly $200,000 to continue providing hope, resources, and advocacy for all.

🎉 Happy Retirement, Lula Ford! 🎉

From the moment Lula first walked through our doors in 1985 as a Dietary Aide, she has given every single day her dedication, passion, and heart to the people we serve. Over the years, she grew into her role as a Supervisor, leading with kindness and setting an example for us all.

Today, as she begins this exciting new chapter, we celebrate her incredible 39 years of service and wish her nothing but joy, relaxation, and adventure in retirement. 💐✨
