Posting shouldn’t feel like a test you can fail. But for a lot of teens (and adults!), it does. The pressure to look perfect, say the right thing, and get validation can turn something simple into something overwhelming.

If you’ve ever:

When your mind starts spiraling, try the 3 Cs:
✨ Catch – Notice the thought. What just ran through your mind?
✨ Check – Is it true? What evidence supports or challenges it?
✨ Change – Replace it with something more balanced and realistic!

This simple CBT skill helps you step out of autopilot and take back control of your emotional response.
You don’t have to believe every thought you think.

• What’s been stressful in the last 24 hours?
• Where am I holding tension?
• What’s one small thing I can change right now?

If you’re reading this, you probably have a feeling something isn’t quite right with your teen. Maybe nothing is “wrong” on paper. Maybe they’re still going to school, seeing friends, getting through the day.

But something feels different.

That feeling matters. Your teen doesn’t need a diagnosis or a breaking point to benefit from therapy. Sometimes they just need a space to figure out what they’re feeling without pressure.

And you don’t have to carry that uncertainty alone either.

Doing everything “right”… but still feeling numb?
You’re showing up, staying productive, keeping it all together. But inside you feel flat. Like you’re just going through the motions.

That’s called functional depression.

It’s not a lack of effort. It’s a pattern—and it’s changeable.
You don’t have to fall apart to deserve support. Feeling disconnected is reason enough. Start small. Awareness is the first step. 💚
