About a year ago, I decided to up my game as a speaker, facilitator and ritualist and I knew I would need photos, but I had no idea about finding a photographer.
As fate would have it, I saw a stunning photo of my buddy Joeletariat Feliciano that was taken by Mazza of Lux, Inc.

I hadn't met Joe, by but I immediately sent him a friend request. He graciously accepted, and replied to my inquiry about booking a session with positivity and such good energy.

It took me about a year to be ready, but I just had an amazing photo shoot with Joe last night, and let me tell you : I wish I could do this EVERY. WEEK.

Y'all -- It was our first time meeting, but Joe greeted me with so much enthusiasm, warmth, and authenticity, I had a somatic experience: I felt it in my SOUL. HE HONORED my diversity: looks, tastes and expressions (and pronouns!) with such generosity that I felt truly seen and valued.
My familiar imposter syndrome and inner critic surrendered and healed and let me believe that I belonged in front of his camera. 📸🤩

This was no longer a transactional experience, but a transformative one.

Belonging heals.
I am grateful.
