The Auxiliary of NorthShore University HealthSystem The Auxiliary of NorthShore University HealthSystem Over the past 79 years, The Auxiliary has raised more than $20 million through our fundraising efforts.

The Auxiliary is a fundraising organization of more than 300 volunteers who provide service, community awareness, and critical funding for NorthShore Evanston, Glenbrook and Skokie Hospitals. NorthShore University HealthSystem (NorthShore) is a comprehensive, fully integrated healthcare delivery system and a teaching affiliate of the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. Ongoing philanthropic support ensures that NorthShore can provide superior medical care, advanced research and state-of-the-art facilities and equipment.

We have supported many areas of basic and applied research, and continue to champion breast and ovarian cancer research. We have provided funding for many clinical programs including Alzheimer's disease, irritable bowel syndrome and cancer care.

The Auxiliary is proud of our many service projects and key fundraising events: The Summer Soiree brings together more than 600 civic and community leaders, and healthcare professionals. Proceeds from the Soiree support innovative research and clinical programs at NorthShore. The American Craft Exposition (ACE) is a nationally recognized, juried fine craft show featuring more than 150 world-class artists. Proceeds from ACE support NorthShore's cutting-edge research for breast and ovarian cancer. The Auxiliary's outreach through our community service activities includes: -An annual nursing scholarship -A diaper drive to benefit the NorthShore Perinatal Family Support Center -Sponsoring employee appreciation events at NorthShore Evanston, Glenbrook and Skokie Hospitals -Delivering flowers to patient rooms And much more!
