This workshop will include stretching applications using table Shiatsu as its focus. The training’s goal is for the therapists to integrate movement and anatomical specificity into their existing work.

Areas to be Covered:
* Demos of Thai-style stretches in supine/prone/seated/side-lying positions
* Select acupressure points for common imbalances
* Hands-on guided exchanges
* Questions and Answers on incorporating techniques into your existing practice

All participants should come with open minds, flexible attitudes, and loose-fitting clothing.

Shoshin Shiatsu Beginner’s Mind is a non-sequence mat based training.

This 2-day training will focus on distilling assessment, providing a synthesis of both energetic and anatomical approaches.

The practitioner will develop awareness around choosing and utilizing suitable techniques, which may include staff and scarf applications.

Each class includes:
* Meditation, Movement & Maka-Ho stretches
* Step-by-step, hands-on instruction & student exchanges
* Techniques in Supine, Prone, Side-Lying, & Seated
* Accessing muscles, meridians, & tsubos
