Join Thomas for this very special class combining an opening portion of gentle stretches and restorative postures, with an extended relaxation supported by the sounds of singing bowls.

Our nervous systems respond to sound and frequency in much the same way plants respond to sunlight. Some of us need more and some of us need less. Through particular tones and harmonics, singing bowls, like the perfect amount of sunlight, offer balanced nourishment to the whole mind-body-spirit system.

I just went to the most beautiful, bright, clean and cool laundromat in the world - and it’s not in Brooklyn (LOL) - It’s right here in Evanston, IL!

It’s called The Laundry Cafe at 2223 Washington. It is a woman owned and cutting edge business. They opened in May of 2025. Like our own yoga studio, it doesn’t have a visible street facing presence so they will build a clientele via word of mouth. Even if you have laundry facilities in your building/home; go here to wash your big, bulky items. Once you’ve been here you will start to look around your house for things to wash - Tracy

- Many sizes of modern, clean, front loading machines including GIGANTIC (we will be merrily washing our yoga blankets here from now on!)
- Friendly staff to help you
- No quarters - only easy to use, refillable cards
- Vending machine with detergent and bleach (no powders in these machines)
- lovely living room area to sit and read or watch one of two big screen tvs
- charming cafe
- large, free parking lot
- Set in lovely neighborhood
- Next to an Evanston Grows garden
