Hi friends 👋🏻

With the upcoming weather en route we wanted to share some helpful tips to protect your spine and body during Snowmagedon!

• Lift smart, not strong – Bend at your hips and knees when shoveling, keep the load close, and avoid twisting.

• Push snow when you can instead of lifting to protect your low back.

• Warm up first – 3–5 minutes of gentle movement can prevent strains from occurring.

• Take breaks – Cold muscles fatigue faster.

• Watch your footing – Small slips can cause big misalignments!!!

• Stay hydrated – Cold weather still dehydrates you (tight muscles love water)!

• Dress in layers to keep muscles warm and flexible.
