Boone Funeral Homes has been in existence in Evansville, Indiana since the late 1800's. Founded as Klee Funeral Home at 1st Street & Ingle, Boone Funeral Homes then became Klee & Burkhardt Funeral Home at 4th Street & Chandler
Avenue. Boone acquired the establishment and Boone Funeral Homes was formally born. In 1985, John & Martha Maier bought-in with the Boone family and expanded the business into its present location in 1989 from Downtown Evansville to the rapidly expanding East Side of Evansville. Currently, Boone Funeral Home on Washington Avenue satisfies the needs of families from Evansville, Newburgh and the surrounding area.
