🎉We were proud to co-host the Evansville Opioid Symposium alongside Youth First, Inc. and the City of Evansville, with support from our sponsors University of Evansville, usiedu, and Peyton Manning Children's Hospital! This educational event brought together professionals and community members, free of charge, to explore nonpharmacological interventions to help combat the opioid epidemic.🧠
The symposium highlighted innovative strategies across Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, and Mental Health Therapy, emphasizing the important role these disciplines play in prevention, treatment, and long-term care.
We were honored to welcome Dr. Ira Chasnoff as our keynote speaker—an award-winning author, researcher, and lecturer in child development. Dr. Chasnoff is the President of NTI Upstream and a Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago. A nationally recognized leader in research with children exposed to substances during pregnancy, his work has helped shape policies and programs that support women, children, and families across the United States and around the world.
