We can accommodate installations anywhere exit signs can be found. One of SafeEVAC’s favorite sectors is education, providing parents peace-of-mind that their children are in the safest viable environment. The system identifies the safest exit paths & will even advise with real-time notifications to shelter in your current location. We collaborate with the 911 system, police/sheriffs, ambulance/EMT services, building operators & administrators. The SafeEVAC system is inexpensive to install. INSTALL
The system is designed for any location where emergency evacuations are contemplated. SafeEVAC is very beneficial for schools, but it doesn’t stop there. The system perfects evacuation strategies for all building types where there are occupants & multiple exits. WHAT SETS US APART

We’re in Wisconsin at our training and test facility—putting SafeEVAC through its paces.
This is where systems are stressed, refined, and validated so they perform exactly as expected when installed in real-world environments.
From hardware durability to system response and monitoring accuracy, we continually test and push our technology to its limits—so the solutions deployed in schools and facilities are dependable, consistent, and ready when it matters most.
Innovation doesn’t stop at installation. It’s built, tested, and proven long before.

Today we are proud to share the system that is redefining emergency response and life-safety infrastructure.

SafeEVAC is an intelligent evacuation, detection, and monitoring system designed to provide adaptive, real-time visual guidance during emergencies.

Static exit signs do not address dynamic threats. SafeEVAC does.

It senses, responds, and directs movement with clarity, even when audio and instinct fail.

We are heartbroken by the tragic loss of two firefighters in Idaho yesterday.

At SafeEVAC, we mourn alongside their families, colleagues, and community. These brave individuals gave their lives in service—running toward danger to protect others.

This devastating event is a solemn reminder of the critical role our first responders play every day. Firefighters, law enforcement officers, EMTs, and safety professionals are the backbone of our communities. Their courage, sacrifice, and commitment to keeping others safe must never be taken for granted.

We honor their memory by continuing to innovate, advocate, and build smarter safety systems—so those who protect us can do so with greater support and confidence.

To all those serving on the front lines: thank you. Stay safe.

The 2025 Florida School Safety Summit closed with a message we’ll never forget.

Chief Christopher Vanghele of the Plainville, CT Police Department, and former Newtown officer, shared his deeply personal story in “Beyond the Badge: Emotional Resilience After a Life-Changing Response.” He was a first responder at Sandy Hook Elementary on December 14, 2012—the day 26 lives were tragically lost, including 20 children between the ages of six and seven.

Hearing directly from those who’ve lived through the unthinkable reminds us why this work matters so much.

Pictured below: SafeEVAC Co-founder Michael J. Day with Tony and Jennifer Montalto of Stand with Parkland, whose daughter, Gina Rose Montalto, was one of 17 victims in the Parkland school shooting.

That tragedy reignited Michael’s commitment to finding a real solution for safe, intelligent evacuation during emergencies. Alongside co-founder Michael Sandefur, they discovered a powerful gap: there was no standardized, intelligent system for guiding people out of buildings in the midst of chaos.

That aha moment became SafeEVAC — a patented, sound-sensing, intelligent evacuation platform that can help save lives in any building, in any crisis.

We’re proud to have been a multi-year sponsor and exhibitor at FS3 School Safety Specialists. This year’s theme, “Sustaining the Momentum: Keeping School Safety a Priority,” aligns perfectly with our mission: to support schools and communities with real, effective solutions to protect what matters most.
