North Park Nursing Center successfully conducted a raffle to benefit the American Senior Communities Share to Care program, which provides crucial support to employees experiencing financial difficulties. We extend our congratulations to Denise Nellis, winner of the Christmas basket, and Debbie Driggs, winner of the fall basket! We sincerely appreciate the participation of all individuals who purchased entry tickets!

Congratulations Breanne Knight, Activities Assistant/Receptionist, our Quest for Excellence winner for 2025! We are looking forward to honoring this year's outstanding Quest Winners at the banquet on November 13 at the Marriott in Indianapolis.

Bre serves both as an Activities Assistant and in A/R, working closely both teams. With three years of dedicated service, Bre has made an incredible impact on both residents and staff. Her journey into this field was inspired by her genuine interest in helping others and her natural ability to bring warmth, joy, and comfort to those around her.

Bre builds strong, meaningful bonds with residents, bringing joy to work every day. Whether it’s lending a helping hand in Social Services, assisting in the Dietary Department, or other areas, Bre’s willingness to step in wherever she’s needed shows her dedication to our community.

Bre is also CNA certified, allowing her to assist residents when needed. She helps drive the bus, getting residents safely to appointments and outings.

Bre’s kindness and bright personality make her a joy to work alongside. Colleagues describe her as dependable, approachable, and always smiling. She makes each activity more engaging, each interaction more meaningful, and each day brighter. Outside of work, Bre enjoys spending time with her two dogs, who keep her life filled with energy and affection.

“Working with Bre is an uplifting experience,” says Jasmine, Activities Director. “She inspires those around her to give their best, simply by setting the example through her own actions. We are lucky to have her as part of our team, and we celebrate her for the hard work and heart she brings to everything she does.”

North Park Nursing Center hosted our annual Halloween event this week. The event included games, food vendors, and refreshments for residents, staff, and families. Despite inclement weather, the event provided a safe and enjoyable environment for the community. The Halloween celebration is a regularly scheduled activity for residents. The administration would like to thank all participants.

North Park Nursing Center Memory Care residents and staff enjoyed a Minions-themed Halloween celebration. The event featured creative activities and fostered a cheerful atmosphere. The presence of children brought considerable joy to our residents. We extend our sincere appreciation to our neighboring daycare center for contributing to the event's success and providing delightful entertainment.

North Park Nursing Center proudly unveiled its recently elected Resident Council President last week! Dennis Morell secured the esteemed position through a peer-led election and is enthusiastic about representing his constituency. Activities Director Jasmine remarked, "The Resident Council President plays a pivotal role in meetings, acting as a dedicated advocate and voice for his peers. Dennis is an excellent selection!" We extend our congratulations to President Morell on this significant achievement!

Our memory care residents had a small Halloween dinner and movie with ghostly drinks before heading to the Newburgh Halloween Illumination Walking Trail. So much fun was had with staff and residents. A big shout out to Simone, Aleea, Cheryl, and Kelsey for taking time out of their evening to ensure our residents in the memory care get to enjoy the Halloween festivities. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication in our memory care at North Park Nursing Center.
