As we reflect on the birth of Jesus, we remember that He came not just as a baby in a manger, but as our Savior, Redeemer, Healer, and Hope.

He is the Light of the World (John 8:12), the Good Shepherd (John 10:11), and the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6).

This season, we celebrate the One who brings restoration, renewal, and redemption — the One who meets us where we are and walks with us toward freedom.

🦃 5R Recovery Community Thanksgiving – We Need Your Help! 🧡

Every year, 5R Recovery comes together to make sure our community feels supported, fed, and loved during Thanksgiving — and this year, the need is even greater. We are putting together our annual Community Thanksgiving Event, where everyone is welcome: individuals in recovery, families, neighbors, and anyone who needs a safe place to be.

To make this happen, we’re asking for help from our 5R supporters who keep our mission alive. We’ve created an Amazon Donation List to make giving easy. Every item on that list will go directly toward feeding and serving our community this Thanksgiving.

🌟 Join Us Tonight: International Overdose Awareness Day Candlelight Vigil & Resource Fair 🌟

Today, we gather for the 9th Annual International Overdose Awareness Day Candlelight Vigil & Resource Fair, “A Night To Remember, A Time To Act.” 💜

✨ Resource Fair: 5:00 PM – 6:15 PM
🕯️ Candlelight Vigil: 6:15 PM
🎤 Program & Panel: 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM

This evening will include:

A resource fair with community services and support.

A meaningful candlelight vigil in remembrance of lives lost.

A powerful program with Executive Somers, service representatives, and people with lived experience.

We come together to raise awareness, reduce stigma, celebrate recovery, honor those still struggling, and remember those we’ve lost. Please bring a photo of a loved one lost to overdose for our tribute wall.
