We are growing! Specializing in scrub apparel, medical equipment and healthcare supplies, we are seeking a customer service representative for our new Everett location. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced enthusiastic and tech savvy Customer Service Representative.
Choices Scrubs and Medical is a specialty retailer that specializes in brand name scrubs and medical supplies for women and men. We believe in a great customer service experience as well as many Choices to meet needs of the individual.
As a Store Associate you will provide a complete shopping experience for our customers, which involves product knowledge, personal assistance, as well as maintaining the highest level of store presentation standards.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Our store sales associates are here to ensure our customers have an amazing shopping experience. Additionally, you are responsible for achieving your individual sales goals and contributing to the store’s sales goals while maintaining Choices merchandising and housekeeping standards.
ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Provide excellent customer service
• Previous retail or related customer service experience preferred
• Actively work with garments, including receiving, ticketing, stocking, replenishing, folding, hanging, merchandising, and displaying per Choices guidelines
• Ring sales on the register, receive and process cash and credit payment, issue receipts and pack merchandise for our customers. Accuracy with money handling and cash register use
• Excellent problem solving, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated and ability to work alone or as part of a team
• Flexible hours: must have some evenings, weekend, and holiday availability.
• Follow the store’s opening and closing procedures
• Light cleaning (vacuuming, dusting, bathrooms, removing trash and recycle)
• Participate in stock inventory
• Reliable transportation
• Adhere to our loss prevention policies
To execute the job duties of a store associate, you must be able to perform each and every one of the above essential job duties.
EDUCATION
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• A high school diploma or G.E.D. is essential along with 6 months to 2 years of retail experience
Physical Demands
• Constantly standing and walking
• Constantly reaching, pushing, pulling, grasping
• Frequently stooping, kneeling, crouching
• Frequently lifting up to 30 pounds and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds
• Occasionally climbing and descending ladders and step stools
