Last weekend, Andrew attended the Elite Football Rehab Conference and NFL Combine in Indianapolis. He had a great experience, learning the latest on football-related injuries and rehab. We’re excited to have him back in the clinic to share his new knowledge with our patients and team!

Another new face at PNW Physical Therapy, Kylie Kaplan PT, DPT! Kylie received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Regis University in Denver in 2024. Prior to that, she attended the University of Washington, where she majored in Physiology and minored in Nutrition (go Dawgs). Kylie is a Seattle native who loves a loop around Green Lake, new restaurants, and any Seattle sporting event. She aims to make physical therapy a fun and engaging experience that will get her patients back to doing what they love!

Last week, the Snohomish County Sports Commission inducted the 2024 class to the Sports Hall of Fame. Jamie accepted the honor on behalf of his late grandfather, Peter Lee, for his accomplishments as a swimmer and coach at Everett High School. Congratulations to all of the 2024 honorees! We are grateful to have been a part of such a wonderful night celebrating this community.

Introducing the newest member of PNW…. Andrew McCoy DPT! Andrew graduated with his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Eastern Washington University in 2024. Prior to that, he attended Whitworth University where he played football and majored in Health Science. He was selected to the all-decade team after his senior season as a defensive end. Andrew grew up in Snohomish and loves everything about the Pacific Northwest. He enjoys all things fitness, most notably running and weight training. Andrew is passionate about working with athletes of all ages and showing his patients what an active lifestyle can do to promote physical and psychological well being.

What an inspiring weekend in Chelan! Collaborating and learning from some of the brightest minds in private practice physical therapy was truly a privilege. The PPSIG conference is held every March in Chelan, and it’s the perfect time and place to generate new ideas, propose legislation, and unite with colleagues to improve our field.

I feel fortunate to be part of such a motivated group of individuals who are dedicated to enhancing the quality of care we provide.

Thank you to all who made this conference a success, and I look forward to continuing to work together to improve the field of physical therapy.

PATIENT SPOTLIGHT:
Glacier Peak student athlete Cade is an extremely hard worker and really pushed himself to get back out on the field after a long recovery from knee surgery. So cool to see him out there again doing what he loves! Thanks Cade for being a great example of drive and consistency. It has been a privilege to help you heal and get stronger. Go Grizzlies!
