Provider Spotlight: Catherine Yee, MD Interventional Pain Medicine/Physiatry

Dr. Catherine Yee is board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation. At her practice (now located at our Silver Lake location), she sees patients who have chronic back, neck, and joint pain, and partners with them to create personalized, non-surgical treatment plans. Known for her compassionate care, Dr. Yee believes that restoring activity is essential for a patient’s overall well-being. She uses the latest therapeutic interventions to help her patients return to the activities they love most, so they can improve their quality of life.

Patients often highlight the thoroughness of Dr. Yee's appointments and her dedication to clarity. She is able to explain complex topics in simple ways, using physical models and imaging to ensure her patients fully understand their conditions.

Her patients value that she remains "in the loop and up to date" on even the most complicated health histories, and that they never feel rushed. Her kindness and commitment to keeping up with the latest research has led many patients to describe her care as exemplary.

We are grateful for the expertise and personalized care Dr. Yee provides to our community.

Provider Spotlight: David Janeway, MD @ Whitehorse Family Medicine

Dr. David Janeway is a dedicated physician at Whitehorse Family Medicine who values the long-term partnerships he builds with his patients. From annual checkups to illness, injury, and chronic disease management, he provides comprehensive care for patients at all stages of life, focusing on evidence-based medicine and prevention strategies to help his patients achieve their health goals.

Patients often remark on the balance of expertise and empathy Dr. Janeway brings to every appointment. He is described as a "superior practitioner" who is both knowledgeable and genuine. Others appreciate his organized and thorough nature, with one person noting that he "took the time to go through all my tests and prescriptions with me" in a way that left them feeling well-informed and at ease.

Dr. Janeway’s dedication to detail and strategy extends beyond the medical clinic. Outside of work, he and his wife are avid bridge players who have successfully competed in and won several local tournaments. He also has a great sense of humor and has been known to ride a unicycle now and then when he's not telling dad jokes.

We are grateful to have Dr. Janeway’s compassionate care and professional expertise as part of the team at Whitehorse Family Medicine.

Effective 1/8/26: Face masks are now required for all patients, visitors, and staff at Western Washington Medical Group clinics.

Why? WWMG’s masking policy is set in accordance with the Northwest Healthcare Response Network, based on rates of COVID-19, influenza, and RSV in the community. Many organizations in the Puget Sound have implemented similar universal masking requirements in alignment with NWHRN. We will continue to monitor and will update the policy as conditions change.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
