Provider Spotlight: Tyler Kent, MD @ WWMG Orthopedic, Sports, Spine & Hand Center

Dr. Tyler Kent is a board certified Orthopedic Surgeon with a specialty focus on upper extremity care. He treats patients with general orthopedic needs, and has expertise in conditions of the hand, wrist, and elbow, as well as total joint reconstruction of the shoulder and arthroscopic surgeries.

Dr. Kent takes a highly personalized approach to patient care. He shares, "My treatment philosophy is to care for all patients as if they were members of my own family, so they can get back to doing the things they enjoy most." He believes patients should be active participants in their care and partners with them to create treatment plans —including both non-surgical and surgical options—specific to each patient's goals. He stays up to date with the latest research and innovations, maintaining state-of-the-art expertise to serve his patients at the highest level.

As a husband and father, Dr. Kent enjoys exploring all of the outdoor activities the Pacific Northwest has to offer with his family and two dogs.

Provider Spotlight: Jeffrey Boggs, DPM @ WWMG Podiatry

Dr. Jeffrey Boggs is a board-certified Podiatrist who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of foot and ankle issues and injuries, as well as foot surgeries. With over 30 years of experience in outpatient and surgical foot care, as well as sports medicine, and has served patients in Everett for the past 25 years. Dr. Boggs emphasizes conservative treatments, such as orthotics and physical therapy, for conditions such as plantar fasciitis, always prioritizing what works best for the individual. He is a specialist in the lapidus procedure for severe bunion deformity, and surgery for Achilles tendonitis or heel spurs.

Dr. Boggs' dedication to helping patients relieve their pain is captured in his philosophy: “I can see the athlete in everybody. From the young and enthusiastic, to the avid middle-aged, to the older patient who just wants to walk two miles a day. Everyone deserves the best possible product to allow them to function to the peak of their performance without pain.”

Outside the clinic, Dr. Boggs enjoys spending time with his family and grandchildren, and is an active member in the community. He enjoys outdoor adventures, including skiing, mountain biking, and motorcycle riding, embodying the active lifestyle he encourages in his patients.

Dr. Boggs' approachable, patient-centered care and surgical skill have earned him a reputation as one of the best foot surgeons in Snohomish County. We're grateful to have him on WWMG's patient care team.
