FDA has approved elinzanetant (Lynkuet), a new type of nonhormonal drug to treat disruptive menopausal hot flashes.” Elinzanetant now joins “two other nonhormonal therapies, the NK3 receptor antagonist fezolinetant (Veozah) and the antidepressant paroxetine (Brisdelle), which are indicated for menopause-related hot flashes."

This is great news!
"Opioid prescriptions for youth ages 19 and younger decreased by 35.5% from 2018 to 2022, according to a study in the Journal of Adolescent Health. Researchers said the decrease may be related to overdose prevention efforts and updated clinical practice guidance. More than 88% of opioid prescriptions were for those ages 10-19."
