Power is Back On
Power came back on at about 4:00 p.m. yesterday (12/20) and has consistently remained on throughout the night. It is still on, and according to Excel, will continue to be on going forward. We have staff currently at Elk Run as the welcome committee, setting up rooms, getting snacks and signs ready for the return and arrival of our residents.

The first group of residents will be expected to arrive around noon today, with the second around 2:00 p.m. We are looking to have everyone settled and back to normal operations by 4:00 p.m. today.

We are in the process of contacting all family members.

We are very excited to welcome everyone back in time for Christmas. Thank you to everyone for their cooperation, patience, and hard work. It has been a difficult time, but we were able to work together to get through it. We think this qualifies as a Christmas miracle!

Two Transmitters are Down

We just met with Jeffco Public Health, CDPHE, and Excel Energy.
There are two transmitters down. The timeline for moving residents back home has been pushed tentatively to Monday, midday. Our team is prepared to get everyone home, hopefully before the holidays.

Meeting Update
We want to share an important update regarding the ongoing power outage affecting the Evergreen, Colorado area. After meeting with Jeffco Public Health, CDPHE, and Excel Energy, we were informed that the goal is to have full restoration of power by Sunday afternoon. The entire Elk Run team is ready to respond immediately and work together with our residents, families, and partners to bring everyone Home.

We have reached out to every family member, and they are thankful for the entire team during this difficult time. We appreciate everyone's patience and cooperation. Once again, this shows the power of teamwork and collaboration in our efforts to Serve All by Following One.

Elk Run Assisted Living is currently impacted by a power outage affecting the Evergreen, Colorado area. Xcel Energy is actively working to restore service, and our community is operating under backup power systems to ensure resident safety and continuity of essential services.

The safety and comfort of our residents remain our top priorities, and staff are on site to provide support and assistance.
