Last fall, I was walking through the forest and came across this patch of moss in the shape of a heart.
It felt like a powerful message straight from Mother Earth. There was a heart, on the ground - bright, soft, gentle, and beautiful. A reminder. Of courage in the face of fear. Of beauty and sweetness in unexpected places. Of staying grounded, in love. π
No matter what is happening in our human world, life in the forest continues to thrive. The birds sing their hearts out, the squirrels chatter away as busy as ever. The natural world continues in flow, as it has for millenia, ever growing and changing. Storms, fires, earthquakes - and all types of upheaval - ultimately accelerate that change and foster new adaptations or growth.
We can embrace nature's rhythms to stay present, grounded and keep a broader perspective. We can lean into wisdom of the elders of times past, who knew how to weather the storms of life with calm and courage, good humor and a deep love of life. They had values and practices to transcend fear or anger - and live a divinely guided, purposeful life, rooted in love. π
Our upcoming Shamanic Living course begins on Friday, February 20, and is designed to help you live from the heart. We'll share practices and perspectives that help stay anchored in the flow of nature, guided by curiosity and courage.
You'll learn about:
- Regular rituals to support your inner balance and clarity
- Cultivating a genuine, reciprocal relationship with nature
- Listening closely to your inner wisdom and intuition
- Honoring the positive flow of energy in the world around you
- Practicing acts of kindness and care for your community
It's a way of life that integrates timeless teachings and values into modern life, to fill some of the gaps missing today.
This class offers a welcoming and supportive space to slow down and regain your sense of harmony and humor. You'll gain a broader perspective on life, and practices to cultivate connection, clarity, and courage. πΏβ¨
