Here a young client is seen working with the bunnies, developing a trusting relationship and learning how to give and receive love from them. Animal-Assisted Therapy of the Mountain Communities is growing!! We would like to introduce Megan Yarnall as part of our team! Megan has earned a masters in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University and is a board certified behavioral analyst. Megan is also a licensed professional counselor candidate as well as a licensed marriage and family therapist candidate. With the help of her co-therapist, a 9 year old Daschund, Addie, Megan specializes in working with teens and adults to strengthen self-esteem by combining experiential learning activities with helping people. Megan combines her love of animals, nature and adventure in her treatment of anxiety, depression, trauma and substance abuse.
