For Informational Purposes:
(RSS) or "group home" as its often referred to, is a residential component in the HCS program.
This service is designed to provide individuals with home environments typical of others in the community without disabilities.
In living in the community, the individuals served have the opportunity to access all the goods and services, as well as leisure activities, with the support of trained caregivers to ensure their activities of daily living are met.

I was just thinking...even though I may not say it often...I am soooooo thankful for the parents that are able to support their loved one in our program...there are so many individuals in programs like these that do not have the privilege of natural family support.

Ngozi Place also have been very fortunate to have some great contract host home providers who opened their homes for our individuals and made them a part of their family.

And finally, as I tell our staff, even if they do not have family, they have us. You cannot spend as much time as we do with our peeps and they not become like family.

For informational purposes:

Individuals in programs like Home and Community Services or HCS receive supports and services specific to their Individual needs.
I decided to highlight in this post. Each of the individual's wear these protective helmets for reasons specific to their needs. Ngozi Place has an awesome support team in Ashlee Allabtlynn McKinney and Darlisa Brown
to ensure we respond to service delivery needs accordingly.
