Rex is a snow-loving shepherd who thinks every snowfall was made just for him❄️☃️. We all may be sick of the snow but Rex is still loving it!!

At 3 years old, this handsome German Shepherd has the cutest floppy ears, a curly happy tail, and a strong bond with his people. Rex was adopted last year but returned when he continued to struggle with reactivity in the home.

He’s looking for a calm, experienced, adult-only home where he can be the only pet. Rex does best in a quiet environment with limited visitors and someone willing to continue working with a trainer. The good news? He’s been meeting new people with our volunteers like a champ — especially if treats are involved!

Meet Dusty 🧡

At just about 3 years old, Dusty’s journey has already had a few chapters. He was recently transferred to us from another rescue, and now he’s patiently waiting for the most important chapter of all — his forever home.

Dusty is as sweet as they come. This handsome orange boy has the kindest green eyes and a gentle soul to match. He’s incredibly friendly, loves attention, and will happily sit by your side soaking up pets and affection. Whether he’s greeting you with a soft look or sitting proudly like the model he is, Dusty’s warm personality shines through.

He’s the perfect age — past the wild kitten phase but still playful, curious, and full of love to give. Dusty is ready to trade in shelter life for a cozy couch, sunny windows, and a family to call his own.

Meet Fuego! 🧡 Fuego found himself back at the shelter through no fault of his own. His family downsized and moved out of state, surrendering two of their three dogs. His former housemate, Rose, is also here at the shelter and available for adoption. This big, beefy 8-year-old boy has a lot going for him! Fuego is crate trained and housebroken. He does pull a bit on leash, but can be easily corrected. 🐾 His play style is hard and fast, quickly tiring and spreading out on the floor with a big smile on his face. 😃

Fuego is good with kids and other dogs. As always, a meet is required to ensure a good match. 🐶 He does reportedly guard his crate from strangers at home and shows some barrier reaction here at the shelter, which means he isn’t showing his best self. Please don’t let that stop you from asking to meet him. Out of the kennel, Fuego is a total charmer just waiting to show you how great he really is!❣️
