Sweet little Merry just crossed the six week mark of her FIP treatment…six more weeks to go and this little FELV positive baby that had a raw hand dealt to her will be officially cleared of FIP. That said she is a super active and playful normal kitten and we are in search of another FELV positive baby so she can have a playmate and life buddy! We are looking for a friendly and playful 4-7 month old kitten. Benny is wondering why nobody came for him today! This handsome 1.5 yo boy was adopted as a kitten but returned to us last week because someone moved in with an aggressive dog and poor Benny was relegated to the basement. We are glad he’s back with us and safe, but disappointed in the people who had a life change without any consideration of the existing animals and commitment they made! That all said this extremely sweet cat is confused and just desperate to be in a loving, responsible home! Rain, Snow or Shine….we will be doing adoptions today at the Princeton Petsmart Adoption Center, 111 Nassau Park Blvd. 12-4pm! We have so many lovely cats waiting and so many more in need. Without adoptions we cannot bring any more cats in at this time. Get your cuddle kitty before the snow comes...
AGAIN!!! The Adoption Center at the Princeton Petsmart is full with loving cats just waiting for a family! We have so many in need. All our cats are spay/neutered; fully vaccinated; tested for FIV/FELV; dewormed; flea/tick treated and microchipped. In many cases where dental care was needed that was completed as well and all cats over nine years old typically come with a current blood panel. Please donate and share, share, share!

Meet Claude! Claude is a feral that showed up in a feeders yard right after the big storm. He had a severe eye injury, and in spite of multiple attempts to trap him prior to the sub-zero temps last week, this guy eluded capture. Thankfully, he was successfully trapped and brought in for medical care to the great team Cats Only Vet Hospital & Mcsnip he was not neutered, and the eye injury was so bad it had to be removed. That all said, this big guy is now fixed, vaccinated, and all medical needs attended to. We are certain he's feeling better; that eye had to be PAINFUL. Claude was an unanticipated large expense and we'd appreciate any shares or donations large or small. He's currently recovering with us and will move to a safe feral sanctuary when healed. He will not be living on the streets of Linden anymore. Please help us continue to help the most vulnerable
animals who truly have absolutely nothing. Thank

It seems like every week we start off with a sad situation and we know we take many cats that are super seniors; with late stage disease and many felv positive cats so we know many of these cats time with us will be short lived….that said we are forever hopeful and always brokenhearted when one of our sweet angels pass. This weekend our beautiful Aurora who came to us last year at 14yo and with advanced kidney disease passed away. This girl lost her owner and in an all too common scenario not one family member would step up for a loved ones pet, so Aurora relied on the kindness of strangers and spent her last year very loved, cared for and most importantly wanted! These cats break my soul every day. Rest easy sweet girl you were loved and will never be forgotten.

We wanted to just thank everyone who supports our rescue and mission. We are struggling daily to stay afloat and continue helping not only cats in need but community members as well. Two weeks ago we launched a fundraiser to try to stabilize a bit and thanks to those that donated we met our goal. We specifically want to thank the two wonderful ladies who came down to Petsmart last week and very generously donated the full amount that was left to meet our goal! There is so much suffering in rescue, truly and often we see the very worst in people but the flip side are those that compassionately open their homes by adopting & fostering and the many people that give whatever they can..you cannot imagine how much even a $5 or $10 donation helps build our fundraisers. Thank you all again and we hope to see you at Petsmart for our very amazing fundraising raffle! ps Tucker who was featured on the fundraiser referenced had most of his teeth pulled and is now getting on the path to a healthy & happy life we hope!

This weekend we just ❤️ Love! if you’re tired of being in the lonely hearts club…well we’ve got the answer…we are full up with Valentine love bugs just waiting to give you their heart! For this weekend only and to sweeten the pot…reduced fees apply. Today we wanted to update another success story brought to you by YOUR donations directly. Cairo came to our attention months ago...he was a sweet cat dumped outside and was suffering with a horrific leg wound...it was so severe amputation was on the table. Fortunately once again the great team Cats Only Vet Hospital & Mcsnip in Pennington and a dedicated foster worked to save his leg. It was NOT an easy road and required regular, sedated bandage changes, heavy and long-term antibiotics and regular x-rays to track progress on healing. It was not cheap but because of donations we never had to deny this cat who was dumped like trash anything! He is now thriving and cleared for adoption....and the best part his foster cannot part with him so he found a forever home too!

Spring is coming....it really is...and with it that cat you've been feeding will blossom into a full fledged family and so on and so on and so on. We are not a TNR group BUT we suffer the repercussions of stray cats and kittens every single day. So here are some tips and an offer of assistance if you are willing to partner. We all have the power to stop unneeded suffering. So many innocent angels died horrible deaths these last few weeks literally freezing into the ground. The work we do now can eliminate many cats suffering that next year! So that said....if you're feeding strays that are not tipped...please start now reaching out to local TNR groups. You may have to commit to helping and supporting the FIXED and VACCINATED cat with ongoing food and shelter but doing that for one or two cats sure beats a population crisis in your yard. If you are unable to secure help but can provide assistance trapping, holding and sponsoring please reach out to me directly...we can guide you and help nip any Spring surprises in the bud. Your local shelter will likely not help, Animal control in your town will likely not provide help. It is on you. If you are feeding an innocent animal please go the extra mile to help stop this crisis NOW. We are here to help but we a small team stretched to max. But together the impact we do in our local area can eliminate countless cats suffering needlessly. 732.850.0779
