Cat's Amazing is a foster based cat rescue. We have cats and kittens at the Princeton Petsmart, 111 Nassau Park Blvd.

Visit during store hours or Sat & Sun 12-5pm when volunteers are onsite.

Some really beautiful girls! Currently at Petsmart we have a bunch of beautiful ladies…Coral came to us back in April as an owner surrender into the Paterson Pound, she was adopted quickly from Petsmart but sadly allergies with one of the children in the home proved to be a big issue and she finds herself back at Petsmart waiting for another shot at a happy family. She’s friendly and sweet but would be best as an only cat in home. Beautiful Coal was also a surrender into the Elizabeth Shelter when her owners became homeless this cat is so lovable and sweet…she’d probably be fine with a friendly cat buddy or calm dog. Lastly gorgeous Willow was found outside with her babies…they are all grown up and all but one have been adopted…her daughter Clover is also at Petsmart. It would be lovely if they could be adopted together but honestly they both just need a chance for a happy life! Update: foster found! We still need Foster’s so please reach out. Lots of cats in need! I know we just posted for Giving Tuesday donations and we truly and desperately need those but can anyone step up to foster these three sweet but scared 4 month old kittens??? They were left outside the Elizabeth shelter in a plastic tote the other morning.
This shelter will not hold beyond a few days and they are at serious risk if they aren't pulled. I can go get them if someone can provide safe haven for 2-3 weeks. These babies deserve so much better than they've gotten. Text me 732.850.0779 | can provide all supplies. This is truly urgent!

Cat's Amazing is asking for donations this Giving Tuesday! Regardless of the day of the week, we are bombarded with requests for help with cats/kittens that are outside in danger; sick or injured strays; housecats that are no longer wanted; and cats scheduled to be killed at larger shelters. We do our best to always step up, but it is physically, emotionally, and financially exhausting. However, these cats need help, and by partnering with community members, other small rescues, and donors, we have been able to keep things going.
Often robbing Peter to pay Paul, but the cats get what they need!
Please share and consider donating. Our vet bills are astronomical, but if everyone seeing this fundraiser can participate, even with 5, 10, or 20, it goes a long way! Every single cent goes to the animals. We are fully volunteer-based; not one person on our team is a paid employee. What we are doing is out of pure love, compassion, and a true mission to help as many innocent cats as we humanly can. Shares are appreciated too! Thank you!

Happy Thanksgiving! This year we are as always so grateful to our volunteers, supporters, Petsmart and adopters. As a small rescue with limited (very limited!) funding and resources we do a lot with very little. We could not do any of this without these relationships.

We are at a complete loss! We had an amazing weekend of adoptions but absolutely no interest in beautiful Kiara! This little Gem was dumped off at the Elizabeth Shelter a few months ago when her owners could no longer care for her. We promptly took her and moved her into a foster home, where she absolutely proved to be the most loving, friendly cat and enjoyed her cat housemate too. Unfortunately in the cage and around so much activity in our adoption center she just doesn’t show well! Her foster provided a ton of photos to demonstrate just how amazing she is when she feels safe and loved! Please consider this little angel!!! We are so grateful to all our wonderful adopters over the past two weeks!!! Our gorgeous boy Petey who was slated to be killed at AHS over entropion eyelid (was not even a correct diagnosis) has found a new loving family; sweet guy Phoenix found outside with a collar embedded under his arm has a new mom; Brownie & Spencer who were surrendered together but not overly bonded each found a loving new family; adorable kitten Sparky who was left at Petsmart a few weeks ago went home with his buddy Giggles who escaped being killed at ACCT Philly. Little Butternut also a survivor of ACCT Philly was adopted also. Adorable Gobbles & Hilly both little strays from Elizabeth shelter were adopted; also from the Elizabeth shelter Dad Duke and his boy Jack were adopted together. Little Pixie is now safe and sound after surviving the streets of Elizabeth. Lastly Panda & Saffron both from the Paterson Pound have also been adopted! As always we pray all these beautiful cats and their new families have long and happy lives!

This beautiful creature is Paisley. She is a gorgeous young cat who sadly has experienced some trauma/ neglect that has left her a bit distrustful of people. We took Paisley in after she was found dumped outside the Paterson pound. She was terrified but with sweetness & curiosity just under her surface. We are looking for a patient, cat experienced foster or adopter for this angel. She deserves to have the chance to be loved and feel safe.
