You can handle a lot.
That’s never been the problem.

The problem is… you never stop. You don’t wait until you’re resourced. You don’t ask what it’s costing you. You just keep going.

And your body learns that this is the expectation. Always on, waiting, anticipating, holding all of it.

There’s another way to live inside your life
but you have to stop proving you can carry it all.

You don’t need a major life overhaul. Just come to class.

Across every stage of life, I keep seeing the same pattern.

Women who are aware, thoughtful, and doing their best, but still carrying more than they need to and still not fully able to settle, even when there’s nothing in front of them that requires it.

We talk about self care more than ever, and yet very little actually changes.

Because this doesn’t shift with awareness alone. It shifts when you’re willing to see how it’s showing up in your body and begin to work with it directly.

This is why and I created…
She Who Nurtures, not as another conversation about self care, but as a structured way to interrupt the pattern in real time because if we don’t, we carry it forward and we pass it on.

Yoga and Ayurveda. We don’t separate the two. Ayurveda informs how we practice yoga at Sanctuary.

Most yoga classes are built around poses and choreographed sequences.

Mine aren’t.

Everything starts here…

Ayurveda lens →
I use what I know about the season, time of day, and the qualities present in nature
to build the foundation of the practice.

From there, everything else is shaped.

Yoga lens →
Breath, structure, and intention are layered in
to support what needs to be steadied, softened, or awakened.

Yoga therapy lens →
Then I consider the nervous system, patterns of tension,
and what people are likely carrying into the room.

Only then… the poses.

That’s why it feels different.

Tea & Tranquility: Yin, Reiki, and Herbal Support

A cozy evening of stillness, nervous system nourishment, and connection.

Join us for a relaxing collaboration with herbalist and Reiki Master Cindy Ross and yoga teacher Kristina Gaito for an evening designed to help you rest deeply and learn how to support your body during busy or stressful times.

We’ll begin with a slow yin class designed to help you settle, soften, and feel supported. As the body relaxes, the nervous system follows, making space for ease, breath, and rest.

We’ll have an extended savasana (relaxation) where you’ll have the option to experience reiki using either a hands on or off approach - depending on your comfort.

After practice, we’ll shift into the tea portion of the evening. Cindy will guide you through tasting a selection of warm herbal teas (plus a cool option if you prefer it), sharing what adaptogens are, how they support the nervous system, and practical ways to weave them into your everyday life. This is not a technical herbal lecture but a grounding and accessible discussion, with space for conversation, questions, and connection.

You will take home a small tea sample and a simple yin-at-home handout so you can continue the experience beyond the studio.

This workshop is perfect for anyone craving rest, simplicity, and a slower pace. No previous yoga or herbal experience is needed, just a willingness to settle in and be supported.
