🗣 Language & Literacy is letter sounds…but it’s also puzzles.

🧪 Science is experiments…
but it’s also problem solving.

🔢 Math is counting…but it’s also spatial awareness.

Learning doesn’t always look structured. It’s our job to notice it, name it, & nurture it. ✏️

💬 Child-first language always.
Behavior is communication, not identity. When we label children, we risk defining them by their hardest moment — instead of noticing their emerging skill.

Another Grow Big Update 🌱

A HUGE shoutout to Miss Morgan for officially completing her CDA!!

Here’s a little backstory…
During her interview with us in November, Morgan shared that she was leaving her previous center because she felt a lack of support. She had already completed her CDA portfolio and was fully prepared to apply for her Exam and Observation — but she didn’t have the backing of her leadership team.

That’s when we knew she was exactly who we were looking for.
•A teacher who actively invests in her growth.
•A teacher who is excited about educating children.
•A teacher who demonstrates a deep understanding of early childhood education and wants to keep learning.

Within just 2.5 months, with the support of our leadership team, Morgan scheduled her exam, completed her observation, and successfully earned her CDA. 🎉

At Celebree, we don’t just grow children big — we grow teachers big too.

Morgan, we are SO proud of you and cannot wait to see the impact you continue to make in your classroom and beyond. 🌟

Short answer: In most cases, no.

In Early Childhood Education, we recognize that children move through predictable stages of social play (Parten’s stages):
• Solitary play
• Parallel play
• Associative play
• Cooperative play

Toddlers and young preschoolers often begin with solitary or parallel play before engaging in true cooperative play — which typically becomes more consistent around ages 3–4.

When your child is playing alone, they may actually be:
• Building focus and executive functioning skills
• Practicing problem-solving
• Developing imagination
• Strengthening independence and self-regulation

Social skills aren’t rushed — they’re developed through modeling, intentional classroom environments, and repeated positive experiences.

Growth isn’t rushed. It’s supported. 🌱

Just a reminder: your child is somebody to someone 🤍

At Celebree, Protect and Nurture guide every interaction, decision, and experience we create - and sometimes we need them more than they need us.

We believe in the power of play. Because play builds real skills. 🧰
