We’re thrilled to share some exciting news with you! The entire Clompus, Reto & Halscheid Vision Associates team would like to spotlight our optometrist, Dr. Courtney Allen.

Courtney Allen, O.D., FAAO received her Doctor of Optometry from the State University of New York College of Optometry in May 2023. Prior to that, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Muhlenberg College in 2020.

Dr. Allen completed her residency at Nova Southeastern College of Optometry in Primary Eye Care, Pediatrics, and Binocular Vision. Her interest in optometry was sparked during her college years after experiencing multiple concussions while participating in sports. Through her own experience with vision therapy as a patient, she became fascinated by the complexities of the visual system, which ultimately led her to pursue a career in optometry.

Since entering practice in 2023, Dr. Allen has been dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for her patients by improving their vision and ensuring that each patient feels genuinely cared for. She finds fulfillment in utilizing her expertise to make a positive impact on her patients' lives.

August Back-to-School Special!

We are excited to welcome Dr. Samantha Spinnato to our practice.

Samantha Spinnato O.D. received her undergraduate degree from Farmingdale State College in Long Island, New York. She went on to earn her Doctorate of Optometry from the prestigious Pennsylvania College of Optometry. Dr. Spinnato completed multiple clinical externships including the Womack Army Medical Center where she was recognized with honors in patient care.

Dr. Spinnato will be examining patients of all ages in both office locations.

"Dr. Halscheid is so personable and really listens to your concerns as if they were his own. He definitely cares about his patients and it shows by the way he speaks to them not only about their eye health but about their overall health and personal life outside the office.
