Get to know the Homeopathic remedy-
Arum Triphyllum

Arum T. is a remedy that is useful for a few specific symptoms as listed below. It is not in typical home kits.

Relating to the lips, face, tongue.
- Raw, Chapped lips
- Cracks at the corners of the mouth.
- Irritated red skin on the lower half of the face.
- Picking at skin on the lips.
- Burning pain of the tongue.

Laryngitis/ Hoarseness- chronic issue or acute from overuse of voice. May be present with or without mucus and soreness.

Homeopathic remedies to help flu symptoms (Part 4). Ocillococcinum

It's the remedy nobody can pronounce. You can call it Oscillo or it is pronounced Ocillo-cos-in-um. This is a product sold only by Boiron. If you buy a pack it comes in little tubes. The directions say to use 1 tube full as a dose but, you can save pellets by just filling the cup on the back of the tube and taking that as a dose. This remedy is used at the first signs of a cold or a flu when you feel sick but the symptoms haven't fully developed. One capful can also be used as a preventative if you will be traveling or will be in a large crowd, this isn't something you want to take everyday though.

Some of the early symptoms of illness may include- throbbing or bursting headache, earache, inflamed red eyes, sneezing, stuffy nose, clear nasal discharge, hoarse voice, wet cough, fever with chills, muscle aches.

This is a must have remedy for your remedy stash and it is not included in common remedy kits. Boiron Oscillcoccinum is available at local natural food and natural pharmacies like Lionville Natural Pharmacies, Kimberton Whole Foods, and also at larger retailers that sell homeopathics. Homeopathic remedies to help Influenza (Part 3) Eupatorium Perfoliatum

-This remedy is helpful for those who have severe aching in the bones during the flu, with feeling as if the bones will break. Pain may cause moaning and restlessness.
-The fever is high, with the chills and shivers.
-Thirsty for cold drinks.
-Other possible indications- severe headache, head feels heavy, watery nasal discharge, nausea and vomiting, aching back and muscles.

I did this today when I dropped a metal bottle full of water on my toe, it went from throbbing to calmed down about 15 seconds after putting the pellet under the tongue.
