15 MINUTES TO STRAIGHTEN YOUR BACK

Busy at work or at university? Have no time to attend the gym? Feel bad because of problems with your back? If the answer is ‘yes’, here are some exercises for you to improve your posture and reduce pain. Here are some exercises that will take only 15 minutes per day.

- HIP BRIDGE.
Lie on your back feet flat and hip-width apart, arms relaxed, and knees bent. Squeeze your buttocks as you lift your hips, creating a straight line from the knees to the shoulders. Hold for a slow count of two, then lower slowly. Build up to 10 to 12 repetitions. (Photo 1)

- SCAPULAR PUSH-UPS.
Get into a high plank with your hands shoulder-distance apart. Keep your body in a straight line with your head in a neutral position. Imagining that there’s something in between your shoulders on your upper back, pinch your shoulder blades, as you slowly lower your body halfway down the floor. Raise your body back up to the starting position. Build up to 8-10 repetitions. (Photo 2)

- CHAIR POSE.
Stand and raise your arms in front to shoulder height. Contract your arm muscles. Exhale as you bend your knees (no more than 90 degrees) and keep them over your toes. Take two breaths; stand. Repeat three times. (Photo 3)

You should remember that problems with your back are common. The only difference is your attitude. Try these exercises, spend such a little amount of time every day and you will definitely feel better.

IMPROVING YOUR POSTURE - IMPROVING YOUR LIFE!

Nowadays lots of people struggle with sedentary lifestyle. School, university, work. We spend hours without movement and in the wrong posture. It leads to stopped back which seems to be just a cosmetic defect, not a real problem to care about. But is it so harmless?

Here are some symptoms which are caused with your wrong posture.

1. Headache.
Simple and trivial. Do you often feel headache after the long day? You probably think that the reason is tiredness. But do you know that among the mechanisms that cause such pain are muscle injuries and circulatory disorders. These mechanisms are developing because of the notorious osteochondrosis. The only thing to avoid it is to keep your back straight.

2. Shortness of breath and accelerated heart rate during exercises.
If you haven’t got any problems with health and overweight, than your posture may hold some answers. Your vitals are compressed and deformed because of the stoop, which leads to problems with heart and breath.

3. Sports injuries.
It seems to be funny, but that is how reality works. If you spend your whole day at work and after that you visit a gym, be careful. Some of your muscles get static load. Other muscles which responsible for dynamic are without any load at all. As a result, you are left with injury because of your unprepared back.

4. Chronic fatigue.
So here we are. Imbalance in muscle tension leads to the extra stress. Actually, sometimes it is even called as ‘office syndrome’. That’s nasty!

5. Appearance.
We can’t ignore this point. People see our posture and make conclusions. We examine ourselves in search of defects in our clothing, face, make-up and hair. But we forget about the most important thing. Our back.

That is the short list of small health problems which we usually don’t mention. Remember! Our back is our mirror. It is our health and our beauty. Don’t ignore it and take care of your health.

Lordosis

Lordosis refers to your natural lordotic curve, which is normal. But if your curve arches too far inward, it’s called lordosis, or swayback. Lordosis can affect your lower back and neck. This can lead to excess pressure on the spine, causing pain and discomfort. It can affect your ability to move if it’s severe and left untreated.
Treatment of lordosis depends on how serious the curve is and how you got lordosis. There’s little medical concern if your lower back curve reverses itself when you bend forward. You can probably manage your condition with physical therapy and daily exercises.
But you should see a doctor if the curve remains the same when you bend forward. Read on to find out what lordosis looks like and how your doctor will diagnose it.
