After many years being part of an out-of-state health system for operations management, in 2017, Foundation Health Partners became both community owned and community operated. This change was made to better serve our patients and to better meet the unique needs of Interior Alaska. Our vision is to provide a lifetime of excellent care by a community-based health care team. We are residents of the Interior. Many of us have grown up here, are raising our families here, and plan to stay here. We practice compassionate health care because we care deeply about the Interior of Alaska. We are committed to bringing in the services you need, to keep you here at home.

We loved partnering with the Fairbanks Children's Museum for Super Saturday: Day to Be a Doctor — a kid-approved day all about health, wellness, and fun! 🩺💙

Our Foundation Health Partners Pediatrics team had a blast helping young learners care for their stuffed animal friends at the Stuffed Animal Check-Up, practice proper handwashing, explore fitness and movement, and even put together their own first aid kits.

The Doolittle Lab will officially reopen on November 17th!

New Hours of Operation:
Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

✅ The Lab at the Hattan Building (formerly FIBC) is OPEN and fully capable of serving our patients — including on Saturdays!

✅ The Lab at JMCCC (Cancer Center) is OPEN and fully capable of serving our patients Monday–Friday.

🔴 The Lab at Doolittle will REOPEN on November 17th!
⏰ New Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

🔴 The Lab at TVC is PERMANENTLY CLOSED.

Big News — 1st Care Clinic is Moving! 🏥
Starting December 6, 2025, 1st Care Clinic will reopen in a brand-new space on the Fairbanks Memorial Hospital (FMH) campus!
Our new home will be in the Hattan Building (formerly the Fairbanks Imaging & Breast Center), part of FMH. This move allows us to better serve our community with:
✅ Expanded access and improved facilities
✅ Easier coordination between your providers
✅ More convenient, connected care — all in one location
Having more clinics together on the FMH campus means your care is closer, your appointments are simpler, and your providers can collaborate more easily to support your health.
🗓 Moving Schedule:
Dec. 2: Last day at TVC
Dec. 3–5: Closed for moving
Dec. 6: Reopen at FMH (Hattan Building)
