It is with profound sadness and a heavy heart that I share the news of the passing of my beloved husband, Fanuel. He departed from this world on June 14, 2024 leaving behind a legacy of love, dedication, and unwavering commitment to our family and the community.

Fanuel was not only a devoted husband and father but also a pillar of strength and inspiration in our lives. His dedication to his work, his kindness, and his integrity have touched many, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

During this difficult time, we ask for your understanding and patience as we navigate through this period of grief. We are committed to continuing the work that Fanuel was so passionate about and ensuring that his vision and values remain at the core of our services.

In Celebration of Memorial Day yesterday, here at FAL we came together as a community to honor and celebrate the brave men and women who have served our country with unwavering dedication. It was a day to remember their sacrifices and express our gratitude for the freedoms we enjoy today.

We took the opportunity to reflect on the selflessness and courage displayed by our military heroes. Their services and sacrifices that have paved the way for the liberties we hold dear. As we gathered around barbecues, attended parades, or simply enjoyed the company of loved ones, we would like to think we all took a moment of silence to honor the fallen, remember their names, their faces, and their stories and through our remembrance, their legacies will endure.

May we always hold in our hearts the memory of those who have made the ultimate sacrifice. Their courage and selflessness inspire us to be better, to cherish our freedom, and to strive for a world of peace.

Happy Wednesday, everyone!
Today, we want to give a special shoutout to some of our residents who have been working hard to grow their own vegetables. It's amazing to see how gardening can bring people together and create a sense of community. From planting the seeds to harvesting the produce, every step of the process is a chance to learn, connect, and have fun. We're so proud of their hard work and dedication, and we can't wait for them to enjoy the delicious, fresh vegetables that they have grown! 🌱🌻🥦

Happy Thursday!
Today we are filled with gratitude for the small things in life/ that often go unnoticed. The warmth of the sun on our face after two days of snow, the smile of a loved one, and the taste of a delicious meal. These simple pleasures remind us of how fortunate we are to be alive and healthy.

Another FAL Community Outing! Day Habilitation

This week for day habilitation, we decided to head to the Morris Thompson Cultural & Visitors Center with some of our Group Home and Supported Living Clients. The display there had a level of interactivity that was nice and had lots of interesting exhibits about the Natives of Alaska. It was very educational for both us and our clients.

Whipped up a delicious nourishing lunch, in no time * 15 minutes tops* with these easy and fuss-free ingredients (Below). No more skipping meals or settling for junk food when you are short on time...!

-2 Chicken wings (use seasoning of choice 10-12 mins in air fryer)
-2 Mini Cucumbers
-1 Small Spring Mix
-1/2 Tomato
-1/4 Onion
-1 Small (red, yellow, orange) each
-Ranch dressing or dressing of choice.
