Except in the case of emergencies, it is not our policy to see patients without an appointment. Our schedule is often filled well in advance, and we do everything we can to assist you if delays or postponements occur. If you leave us a business or home phone number on the day of your appointment, we can call you so that you might adjust your schedule accordingly. Often Dr. Wade is called out of the office, or some patients require extra clinic time for their serious injuries. We appreciate your understanding and patience with us as we do the best we can in managing our time constraints. If your time is short, we encourage you to call ahead and check our clinic schedule time. For patients whose injury is work related, you must provide the clinic with an authorization letter from your employer or agent. Please include a claim or case number, contact agent and their phone number, and appropriate billing address.

The Office of Dr. Mark Wade at Interior Alaska Orthopedic and Sports Medicine is Fairbanks' only Orthopedic Practice with MRI, Physical Therapy, X-Ray and Outpatient Surgery at the same location

Our philosophy is to provide the best possible medical care to each of our patients. We make an active effort to listen to our patients, help them regain their lost function, and enable them to achieve their physical goals. Diagnosis, treatment, and management is the core of our practice. If needed, we work closely with all specialties in the Fairbanks area, in order to make your experience a collaborated effort based on your needs.

It is with great pleasure that Dr. Mark Wade is now doing total knee replacements and total shoulder replacements here at The Surgery Center of Fairbanks. You will stay over night for observation and be home within 24 hours of having your surgery resting.
