Woodland Wellness Center would like to welcome Karlan as our newest team member. Karlan believes that everyone deserves to live a balanced, pain-free life. Her mission is to unlock those possibilities for her clients through the restorative power of Massage Therapy. She began her professional journey in 2015 with training in California, and her experience is as diverse as her skillset, with practices spanning Fairbanks and Juneau, Alaska, Hopkins, Belize, and Fort Collins, Colorado.
She offers a versatile approach, drawing on techniques like Swedish massage, deep tissue, neuromuscular and trigger point release, myofascial release, and prenatal massage. Karlan is also continuously expanding her knowledge base, with advanced training in targeted areas such as lower back pain, sports massage, cupping, and heated bamboo (mu-xing), as well as specialized work with fibromyalgia and diabetes mellitus. She is dedicated to applying the latest insights from pain science to provide effective relief.
When she's not helping clients, Karlan is a busy Mama who loves to be outside, enjoy all types of animals, and relax with a good book. She is ready to help you feel better, cultivate a clearer body-awareness, and step back into your day with less tension.
