The Virginian Retirement Community in Fairfax, VA held a groundbreaking and construction commence ceremony to kick off the renovation and reprogram of their senior living campus. Located on over 32 beautifully wooded acres overlooking Accotink Creek, The Virginian offers the full spectrum of senior care options from independent living all the way through memory care and skilled nursing. Meyer is currently serving as Interior Designer of Record with other team members including Focus Healthcare Partners, Allied Partners, and Moseley Architects. The completely redesigned and reimagined interiors will offer all the modern amenities and residences to meet the needs of today’s active seniors. Meyer will be providing updates throughout the multi-phased construction process as the transformation of one of the premier retirement communities in Northern Virginia comes to fruition.
