We had a GREAT time this week partnering with FoodShare Bamberg and Southeastern Housing and Community Development to deliver boxes to residents in Bamberg and Barnwell Counties! Our community is truly blessed to have these organizations. Thank you employees for your hard work and big hearts!

Today is National Rural Health Day!
The National Organization of State Offices of Rural Health (NOSORH) has set aside the third Thursday of November to celebrate the "Power of Rural" on National Rural Health Day (NRHD). This day is an opportunity to bring attention to and honor the incredible efforts of rural healthcare providers, communities, organizations, State Offices of Rural Health, and other stakeholders dedicated to addressing the unique healthcare needs of rural America.

We are back tomorrow, 10-27-25, from 9-12 at USC Salkehatchie in Allendale! Our mobile health services will be open for students, staff, faculty and the surrounding community! Anyone can come! We are offering sick and well visits with a primary care provider as well as immunizations, screenings and more! We will be located at USC Salk's Conference Center the 4th Tuesday of every month!

Low Country Health Care System, Inc., provides cost-effective, high quality, comprehensive medical care in a comforting family environment to patients of all ages. From annual exams to minor emergencies and unforeseen illnesses, our offices are fully equipped to provide the full array of health care services to all individuals, regardless of ability to pay.
Low Country Health Care System is a non-profit, 501(c)3, primary health care organization, and has provided health care services for over 40 years. The organization services Allendale, Bamberg, and Barnwell Counties in South Carolina and currently cares for approximately 16,000 patients.
Our locations include: Low Country Health Care System in Fairfax; Barnwell Family Medicine; Barnwell Family Specialty Services Women’s Health Center; Barnwell Pediatrics; Family Medical Center of Blackville, Williston Family Medicine, and Padgett Family Practice in Bamberg. Low Country Health Care System operates two pharmacies, located within Barnwell Family Medicine and the Fairfax Office. Low Country Health Care System also has an Early Intervention Services (EIS) facility in Bamberg and provides EIS services at our Fairfax Office, Family Medical Center of Blackville and Williston Family Medicine.
With eight locations and 200 employees, Low Country Health Care System has a wonderful history of providing primary care services to the citizens of Allendale, Bamberg, Barnwell and surrounding communities, regardless of a patient’s ability to pay.
