Office Closure Notice 🚨 We will be closed on Wednesday afternoon, March 11 to provide mandatory training for our staff. Offices will close from 11 to 5. Our medical team is committed to continuous improvement to better serve you!
Please give us a call today to ensure medication or appointment needs are taken care of.

Low Country Health Care is saddened by the loss of Dr. Dale Padgett, who was a vital part of our team before his retirement. He welcomed us into Bamberg and provided wonderful care to countless patients. He will be greatly missed by all of us. His family, friends and community our in our thoughts.

Low Country Health Care System is a non-profit, 501(c)3, primary health care organization, and has provided health care services for over 40 years. The organization services Allendale, Bamberg, and Barnwell Counties in South Carolina and currently cares for approximately 16,000 patients.
Our locations include: Low Country Health Care System in Fairfax; Barnwell Family Medicine; Barnwell Family Specialty Services Women’s Health Center; Barnwell Pediatrics; Family Medical Center of Blackville, Williston Family Medicine, and Padgett Family Practice in Bamberg. Low Country Health Care System operates two pharmacies, located within Barnwell Family Medicine and the Fairfax Office. Low Country Health Care System also has an Early Intervention Services (EIS) facility in Bamberg and provides EIS services at our Fairfax Office, Family Medical Center of Blackville and Williston Family Medicine.
With eight locations and 200 employees, Low Country Health Care System has a wonderful history of providing primary care services to the citizens of Allendale, Bamberg, Barnwell and surrounding communities, regardless of a patient’s ability to pay.
