THE PROVIDENCE OF FAIRFAX, A NEW SENIOR LIVING COMMUNITY
The Providence of Fairfax, welcoming those seeking exceptional Assisted Living and Memory Care.
Silverstone Senior Living, with Watermark Retirement Communities as operating partner, is building a 154-residence new senior living community that brings together the best in design and innovative programming to create an integrative care environment where residents will thrive. The Providence of Fairfax is situated in a prime location in the MetroWest community of Fairfax County, Virginia.
THE DETAILS
This hospitality-focused senior living community will feature 100 assisted living and 30 memory care residences, as well as 24 residences in The Bridge program for those experiencing mild cognitive issues. Studio, one- and two-bedroom residences will be offered on a monthly rental basis. Comfortable and thoughtfully-designed assisted living residences will have modern kitchenettes, upgraded appliances and oversized windows to take advantage of stunning views from this seven story building.
The memory care neighborhood, on a secure second floor, will have several comfortable common areas including a living room, an open kitchen with family-style seating, an art studio, and a large landscaped veranda that will invite a comfortable indoor/outdoor lifestyle. The community will feature select technologies to assist with resident well-being including security, sleep, exercise and nutrition.
Architecture and design will feature the best of regional influences in a modern building, with red brick cladding with white accents. The building will be u-shaped wrapping a central courtyard terrace, and rise to seven stories over two levels of underground parking. Ample tall windows in the residences and the common areas will create well-lit spaces with expansive views of this extraordinary setting.
Backed by a suite of services grounded in a concierge model of hospitality, amenities at The Providence of Fairfax will showcase cuisine, engagement and wellness. Dining venues include a formal dining room with open-hearth oven, a bistro and bar, as well as a private dining room. Amenities include a wellness center with salon and spa, a fully equipped fitness center, multiple activity venues, club rooms, a community room, and an expansive outdoor terrace. Additionally the community is capped with a roof-top terrace with fire pit seating and a glass screen wall. Engagement programming will be structured by Watermark’s award-winning Watermark University, which encourages residents, associates and families to teach courses on what they are passionate about.
The community is designed by Perkins Eastman Architects with Interior Design provided by Thoma-Holec Design and Landscape Architecture by ParkerRodriguez.
