We brought in the Holiday spirit by having live entertainment for both our Assited Living and Long Term Care/ Skilled Unit. We had great delicious food prepared by our kitchen. And families joined us and gathered to join in the fun too!

Congratulations to Lakisha Neal, Hospitality Aide at Buckeye Forest of Fairfield, on being named one of our 2025 OHCA Assisted Living Excellence Award winners! 🎉

For 12+ years, LaKisha has gone above and beyond for residents—jumping in wherever needed, on any floor. She’s the teammate who quietly notices a toppled pile of laundry and washes it, brings curtains and essentials so an apartment feels like home.

Her work ethic is unmatched, and her compassion is constant—families, residents, vendors, and colleagues all rave about her kindness, empathy, and respect. She mentors new staff, knows each resident’s story, and reminds us what true caregiving looks like: “I love them, every one of them.”

Fall fun at its finest! 🍂🎉

Buckeye Forest at Fairfield was buzzing with energy yesterday as our amazing community came together for an unforgettable Fall Fest. From bounce houses to basket giveaways, delicious food, and great vibes, it was a day to remember!

Huge thanks to our incredible residents, staff, and the community members who joined in on the fun & for making this event so special.

This is what happens when we surround ourselves with people who care.
