A gentle reminder for this season:�
→ You don’t owe everyone your time.�
→ Your bandwidth matters.�
→ Protecting your peace is a valid reason.�
→ “No” is a complete sentence.�

As you move through December, choose what supports you and avoid what exhausts you.�

One of the biggest communication challenges couples face is reacting before truly understanding. ❤️💬

When emotions rise, it becomes easy to defend, interrupt, or assume. Slowing down the moment and really listening creates space for clarity, trust, and connection.

Try gently asking, “What are you feeling right now?”�This small shift can change the entire conversation.

Many grow up hearing they are “too sensitive” or “too emotional,” which can make you hide your needs or feel ashamed. In therapy, we learn emotions are not flaws. They are signals showing what matters, what hurts, and what needs care.
