Short answer: Yes, experts anticipate interest rates will eventually drop once inflation is under control... but not to the 2–3% we saw in 2020–2021. What we’re more likely to see is a new “normal” in the 5–6% range.

What does that mean for you? The smartest move is to buy when the right home and the right monthly payment line up for you. Waiting for the "perfect time" to move will likely end up costing you in the end.
