🔧 Cantilever Gate Installation

This striking custom gate, crafted with a unique round cut-out pattern, needed hardware as strong as its design. Weighing in at 1,150 lbs with a 20-ft opening, it was built far beyond the limits of typical sliding systems.

The installer selected the CGS-250.8P cantilever model, engineered for heavy-duty performance and seamless operation. Paired with the ARES automated operator, the homeowner can open and close the gate effortlessly using the Q-box keypad or remote controls.

🏗️ Koi Pond Expansion

Expanding a koi pond isn’t just a landscaping upgrade, it’s a structural challenge. This homeowner rebuilt their pond with heavy-gauge rebar and shotcrete, placed over two weeks with 40–60 yd³ per pour to create a durable new basin.

To enhance performance and longevity, the team added FiberForce 650™ at 3 lb/yd³, along with an integral waterproofing agent. Even with full rebar reinforcement, FiberForce 650™ delivered the high post-first-crack residual strength needed for a tougher, more resilient structure.

Ellis Elementary School in Logan, Utah was named 1st Runner Up in the Education category at the 2024 ICF Builder Awards. The project showcases how thoughtful material choices can elevate both performance and design.

At the heart of the project is Old Mill’s Panel+ system, featuring 1" EPS insulation panels and thin brick veneer that deliver the look of traditional masonry with modern energy performance. The system adds an R-value of 4.8, helping the school cut heating and cooling costs while maintaining long-term comfort and efficiency.

When static shocks began posing a safety hazard inside Offutt Air Force Base’s 60,000-square-foot jet maintenance hangar, the Air Force turned to Rio Flooring Systems for a high-performance solution.

Rio installed a custom electrostatic discharge (ESD) urethane flooring system - engineered to prevent static buildup, resist abrasion, and perform in high-moisture environments. Since installation, the base has reported zero shock incidents, enhanced crew safety, and improved long-term durability for its aviation operations.
