Suisun Valley Yoga

Suisun Valley Yoga I am grateful to run the wellness program at WOW and the opportunity to bring more joy and better living to the community in Fairfield and Suisun Valley

I have been a Registered Nurse for 30 years. I worked in ER's, ICU's and tiny airplanes transporting critically ill patients. I suppose you might say I was an adrenaline junkie. A few close calls in-flight led me to consider other options. I chose to go back to school. I completed my Masters Degree in Nursing Education at UCSF with the intention to TEACH. And teach I did! I taught many courses including anatomy for registered nursing programs. During this time, I took more interest in my personal yoga practice and decided to become a yoga instructor. Many, many trainings later, I completed my 500 hour advanced yoga training through Yoga Tree, in San Francisco, with a focus on anatomy, alignment and therapeutics. Yoga is for EVERY BODY We just have to find what is right for YOUR BODY

It is my belief that health of the mind and of the body are directly related, and therefore, happiness is an integral part of one's own health. For me, yoga is unique in its ability to promote this balance. I am fully committed in unifying traditional western methods of healing with more natural interventions. The body is designed to heal itself, I would like to show you how you can support that process. Yoga is MADE for all bodies, it just doesn’t look the SAME in all bodies.

Are you craving nourishing, healing touch and a space to truly unwind and receive?

In a world that pulls us in many directions, the need for connection, healing, and hope has never been stronger.

Join Anjuli and Alok, embodiment coaches, longtime bodyworkers, and founders of ContactYoga for a special workshop designed to guide you into the art of compassionate touch and somatic presence.

You will be guided on a journey of cultivating your sense of touch through creative partner stretching sequences leading into giving and receiving Thai massage.

This workshop goes beyond technique, it’s a shared journey into blissful release, loving-kindness, and embodied connection.

You’ll explore:
Foundational warm-ups and partner yoga sequences
A guided sequence of giving and receiving massage with a partner
Principles from ZenThai Shiatsu, a dynamic blend of Thai Massage and Shiatsu
Acupressure, mindful stretching, joint mobilization, and the power of breath and fluid flow

Come solo or with a friend - no experience is necessary. You’ll leave with hands-on skills, a more open body, and a fuller heart.

This workshop is for you if:
You want to feel more empowered in your body and breath

Come and meet our beautiful latest addition to our teaching staff, Gabriella. She will be teaching Tuesday evenings at 6pm.

Gabriela is a holistic medicine and nutrition practitioner turned dedicated yoga teacher. Her yoga journey began while helping patients find balance through mindful eating and natural healing. Over time, she discovered that true wellness extends beyond nutrition, it flourishes through movement, breath, and mental clarity. Motivated to unite these elements, Gabriela earned her yoga certification to help others achieve both physical alignment and inner peace.

Today, she blends her medical knowledge with the art of yoga, offering classes and workshops that integrate movement, mindfulness, and holistic health. Her compassionate approach nurtures the body, calms the mind, and inspires her community to cultivate harmony from within.

Noelle Joy is a devoted yoga teacher, healer, and kirtan leader with a heart-centered mission to share the joy and transformation that yoga has brought into her life. She holds 440 hours of Radiant Body Yoga certification and 200 hours of Hatha Vinyasa training, blending the technical precision of asana with the subtle practices of breath, kriya, mantra, and meditation.

Her journey into yoga began as a path to heal both physical and emotional wounds. What started as self-care unfolded into a profound awakening of body, mind, and spirit. Along the way, she became a Kali-Ki Reiki Master Practitioner, sound healer, and kirtan leader, embracing sacred sound and vibration as tools for deep healing and expanded awareness.

Today, Noelle shares these integrated practices to guide others into greater wholeness. Whether through a dynamic flow, a meditative kriya, the power of mantra, or the resonance of sound, her teaching is rooted in the belief that joy is our birthright and healing is possible. She embodies the truth that when we transform ourselves, we expand the possibility for others to do the same.

Greg began practicing Yoga at 18 in 1975, and it has remained his lifelong path for nearly 50 years. For Greg, Yoga is the pursuit of the True Self that includes an exploration of body, mind, and spirit that has served as both a spiritual calling and a means of healing childhood trauma.

At 43, he experienced a profound awakening that inspired him to leave behind a corporate career and dedicate himself fully to Yoga. Since then, he has studied with master teachers, immersed himself in spiritual texts, completed multiple teacher trainings, and taught thousands of students. Over the past 25 years, Greg has owned a thriving studio in San Ramon and led more than 7,000 classes for practitioners of all levels.

Today, his greatest joy is sharing what he calls Yoga for Every Body which is an inclusive, accessible, and transformative practice. In his classes, students move, laugh, sometimes cry, and always experience the deep benefits of Yoga.

In addition to teaching, Greg is a longtime life coach and mentor, helping individuals discover their true purpose and bring their gifts into full expression for their own fulfillment and the greater good of all.

Amy has been dedicated to teaching yoga for more than 20 years. Throughout her career, she has had the privilege of guiding students at every stage of practice—from beginners to advanced practitioners, individuals healing from injury, and those in prenatal and postnatal phases. She finds joy in weaving together meditation, contemplation, chanting, breathwork, and mindful alignment, creating space for growth both on and off the mat.

Her training spans a wide range of teachers and traditions, including Hatha, Ashtanga, Forrest Yoga, and Dharma Yoga. Amy brings thoughtful attention to the subtle details of each posture and transition, drawing from a rich and continually evolving well of knowledge to support her students. Inspired by the wisdom of the late Krishnamacharya and guided by her current teachers, Tias and Surya Little, she continues to deepen her own study and practice.

Amy holds certifications through Yoga Alliance, Prajna Yoga, The Yoga Institute, and Alice Joanou of the former Ahimsa Yoga.

“Maybe the journey isn’t so much about becoming anything. Maybe it’s about un-becoming everything that isn’t really you, so you can be who you were meant to be in the first place.” – Paulo Coelho

At the heart of Lighting the Path lies this truth: yoga is not just about postures—it’s about returning home to yourself. This training is a journey of un-layering, of rediscovering your truest, wisest self, and learning to live and relate from a space of deep authenticity, love, and compassion.

This experience isn’t only for aspiring yoga teachers. It’s for anyone ready to reconnect with themselves, nurture their inner wisdom, and cultivate a life rooted in presence and heart. Whether you feel called to teach or simply to deepen your practice, Lighting the Path will guide you toward greater self-love, courage, and clarity.

From this place of inner peace, you’ll learn how to show up more fully and authentically in the world. Because the most powerful way to inspire others—whether in teaching or simply in living—is to first make peace with your own heart.

Join us for this transformative journey in Spring 2026 at Wild Oak Wellness in the heart of Suisun Valley on Mankas Corner.

Meaghan is a 200-hour certified yoga teacher, personal trainer, and health coach with over 10 years of experience helping others nurture a healthier relationship with food, movement, and their bodies. She is passionate about creating safe, supportive spaces where yoga, mindfulness, and self-care come together.

Her teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that everyone deserves to feel good in their body, and that true self-care begins with self-love. In her classes, Meaghan encourages students to listen inward, honor their individual needs, and move in ways that feel both supportive and empowering.

Off the mat, you’ll often find her exploring nature, enjoying time with friends and family, playing with animals, cooking, diving into books on psychology and human rights, or relaxing in her hammock with a great read.

Fun fact: Meaghan’s favorite processed food is Oreos, her favorite unprocessed food is avocados—and yes, she happily enjoys both (just not at the same time!).
