Happy Birthday to the twins who have always worked together and dressed exactly the same! Born just one minute apart, and now they’re always together.

They have been apart of Precision EyeCare Centers for 15 years!

Deanne is married to Jonathan and has two children. Leanne is married to Paul and has four children and two grandchildren.

When they’re not at the office, Deanne & Leanne love being outdoors—but they’re never really off duty! They’re always happy to answer optometry questions outside the office, and you may have even witnessed one of them adjusting glasses at a ballgame! 👓 🏀🤣

Dr. Stauder graduated from the Illinois College of Optometry in 1998 and has owned Precision EyeCare ever since. He later served as President of the Illinois Optometric Association from 2014–2015. He is married to Leanne and has four children and two grandchildren. When he’s not caring for patients, he enjoys spending time outdoors.

We are so grateful for the excellent care Dr. Stauder provides to our patients. Please help us wish him a very happy birthday! 🎉

Our Story

“I was always very nearsighted... and amazed at the improvement in my vision when I would get new glasses. I started working in optometry at the age of 15 and soon realized that I wanted to help others.

“Today, after two decade as an optometrist, I enjoy the same things about eyecare as I did when I was a teen. I know I’m making a difference in people’s lives, and it’s a great feeling to be able to diagnose a problem, treat it and help someone prevent vision loss. I also enjoy the simple act of interacting with people. I feel not only like an eye doctor but a friend who is looking out for their best interests and striving to help them have a better quality of life. I care about them, and I want what’s best for them. And I know that this starts with understanding that each person is unique and addressing their concerns, problems and objectives on an individual basis. I realize how important it is to choose a career you love and you will never have to work a day in your life.

Certification: Board Certified by The American Board of Optometry, Prescription of oral & topical medications for eye diseases.

OD: With Honors, Illinois College of Optometry, Chicago, IL
