This beautiful transformation was achieved without placing any implants — per the patient’s wishes.

She preferred to avoid anything in her jaw bones, so we created a custom pathway using biologically supportive care and biocompatible materials.

We are so fortunate to have Eastern Shore Myo to provide amazing myofunctional therapy to our patients prior to their functional frenuloplasty with our LightScalpel CO2 laser. Just check out these results. Not possible without the proper myofunctional therapy pre and post op and having the right tools and knowledge to accomplish a complete release!

The first image shows the patient prior to therapy, with noticeable oral and palatal tension.
After completing myofunctional therapy and a functional frenuloplasty, she experienced remarkable improvements — including significant tension relief, enhanced tongue mobility, and better oropharyngeal function.

As a professional singer, she now reports being able to reach higher notes with ease and sustain them longer due to improved tongue and soft palate coordination and reduced muscular restriction.

Today we used the Solea CO₂ laser to perform a soft tissue recontouring on tooth #8 to match the gumline of tooth #9 — and the results were seamless 🙌⁣
