Holidays leading you to feel restrictive or guilt after indulging?

You’re not alone AND it doesn’t have to be that way!

After a holiday party, fun night, etc here’s 1 tip:
Go back to your normal routine! That simple.

Don’t skip meals, drink bone broth for three days or restrict because that will just perpetuate a binge/restrict cycle.

If you don’t remember anything else that I ever say remember this:

“We have to calm the body before we calm the mind! “

What does this look like? It can be a hand on the chest and one hand on the belly and some rounds of deep breathing. It can be Box breathing, it can be laying on the floor on your back and Shiva, it can be listening to a meditation doing some bilateral tapping. (Butterfly tap)

Inner critic running the show?

Youre not alone- we’re wired for negativity because our brain’s job is to keep us safe and be on the lookout for threats. 🦁

Two things I’m currently obsessed with:
1. My red light
2. Regulating my nervous system

& what better way than to do them both at the same time?!

these are some of my favorite ways to calm the nervous system, activate the parasympathetic state, a.k.a. rest and digest. But also using my Lumebox stand, I can get the benefits of red light at the same time. 🙌🏼
