Some Friday cuteness at WolffPAC 💙

As we head into the last weekend of Autism Awareness Month, we’re reminded that for us, this work happens every single day. Awareness is only meaningful when it’s put into action.

While we love sharing highlights, we also recognize the challenges our clinical team and families work through alongside our kids. Social media, movies, and shows don’t always show the full picture, and that’s important to acknowledge.

In the spirit of autism acceptance, we celebrate every milestone, no matter how it comes, when it comes, or what it looks like. Each step forward matters.

We give all the credit to the kids, our dedicated team, and the incredible families who show up every day. 💙

March celebrates World Behavior Analysis Day, and April recognizes Administrative Professionals Day—two moments that perfectly reflect the heart of WolffPAC.

WolffPAC is as strong and impactful as it is because of the people behind it. Our clinical team shows up every day with expertise, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to our kids. Our administrative team keeps everything moving forward, managing constant demands and inevitable chaos with professionalism, grace, and precision.

Together, they ensure that every decision, every detail, and every interaction keeps our children’s clinical care at the center.

Grateful doesn’t feel like a big enough word for this team.

As we reach the halfway point of Autism Awareness Month, we want to share a few important facts right here in Ohio. 💙

2017 – Autism insurance coverage for ABA services was signed into law in Ohio. Before this, families often could not access services unless they could pay out of pocket.

2026 – While insurance coverage remains in place, there are still gaps in the original law that can impact timely access to care for children seeking therapy.

The History – The insurance reform movement began with a small but powerful group of parents advocating not only for their own children, but for all children. Their voices helped create meaningful change.

Today – Parents continue to be the strongest advocates for their children. Lived experiences matter. They are real, and they drive progress.

As we continue through Autism Awareness Month, remember: every voice matters. Every action counts. Together, we can make a difference in our communities. 💙

The first consonant sound “buh” has a different value to our families. For our WolffPAC team and families, it’s a celebration to the start of echoic imitation and the possibility of a vocal speaker. We find toys and activities the kids really like and repeatedly pair the word + actual object + pictures. And after hundreds and hundreds of presentations, we get a beginning sound to a full word some day.

WolffPAC had the honor of touring and meeting with the Field Representative for Congresswoman Emilia Strong Sykes, Christina Trompower.

Autism Awareness Month holds special meaning at WolffPAC, as advocacy is at the heart of what we do every day. Our CEO, Kim Wolff, had a productive and engaging conversation with Christina, highlighting the impactful work underway in Summit County while also discussing the gaps that remain to be addressed.

We are grateful for the opportunity to share our mission and continue important conversations because meaningful change starts with a conversation. 💙

At WolffPAC, our team works hard to create opportunities for our kids to experience meaningful moments—like participating in activities such as egg hunts so that they’re able to do it alongside their siblings and families.

These moments may seem simple, but they represent so much more: inclusion, connection, and joy. Every child deserves the chance to engage in traditions, build memories, and feel a true sense of belonging.

Wishing our WolffPAC team and families a wonderful weekend and we hope you’re the lucky ones to find the golden egg!

At WolffPAC, we see the incredible strengths, resilience, and individuality of every child and family we serve. Awareness is where it starts. Acceptance is where change begins. Action is how we move forward.

We are committed to creating environments where children feel safe, families feel supported, and progress is possible. Our work is rooted in compassion, science, and community.

This month, and every month, we stand with the autism community—advocating, educating, and pushing for a system that works better for everyone.

💙 Together, we can turn awareness into impact.
