Meet McKenzie Terfehr, Southern Minnesota Skin Solutions provider and owner. With a passion for medical dermatology, McKenzie treats various benign skin issues as well as cancerous skin lesions. Her goal for southern Minnesota is to bring top-notch medical dermatology care, as well as provide different cosmetic treatments including Botox, fillers, PDO threads, and more!

A few more things about McKenzie:
Graduated from SDSU with her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree.
She is a Dermatology Certified Nurse Practitioner (DCNP).
She loves to go hiking and backpacking in her free time.
She is active in the community serving on various boards, coaching youth athletics, and is busy with her kids and their extracurricular activities.
Favorite pastime: sports events with her kids, MN Timberwolves games
Favorite activities: running, lifting weights, anything sports related.
Favorite books: Dermatology books and articles

ATTENTION MEDICARE PATIENTS!

If you had UCARE Medicare in 2025, have not yet changed insurances and have yet to reach out to an insurance agent, YOU NEED TO DO THIS NOW!

UCARE Medicare no longer exists for 2026. We will not be able to accept patients that present to their appointments with UCARE Medicare. Your visit will become cash pay (out of pocket) expense if a new primary insurance has not been deemed as active.

UCARE Commercial, Medicaid patients: we will CONTINUE to see these patients in office, but be sure to update office with insurance changes as many of you will be converted to an alternate form of insurance throughout 2026.

Patients are responsible for providing their updated and current insurance information or visits will be cash pay or rescheduled as necessary.

Thank you for your attention to this. Please stay tuned for further updates, as there will be many throughout 2026.
