This VIB (Very Important Butterfly) is not only Rehabilitation Supervisor Trinity Celapino, but November’s FMC Employee of the Month!

Trinity joined us one year ago, and says she loves having the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives—both patients and staff.

“Every day brings a new challenge, but also a new chance to support growth,” she said. I’m proud to lead a team that’s so passionate, collaborative, and committed to compassionate care.”

Trinity’s favorite thing about her job:
“Every person in our department shows up with passion, dedication, and a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life. We’ve built a culture where we lift each other up, celebrate the wins—big or small—and support one another through the tough days. It’s more than just a team; it feels like a family. Being surrounded by people who care so deeply about their patients and each other makes coming to work something I truly look forward to.”

In her free time, Trinity enjoys boating with her family, bird watching, and going to live sports games cheering on the Pittsburgh Pirates, Penguins, and the Steelers.

Please join us in congratulating her!

🐰💛 A heartfelt thank you to a very kind local couple who collect stuffed bunnies for our Emergency Department all year long, and donate them to us just in time for the holidays.

Though they wish to remain anonymous, we’re so grateful for their generosity and the comfort these cuddly bunnies bring to our youngest patients. It’s a joy to see them each year and to be reminded of the difference small acts of kindness can make.

🎄✨ The season of giving is here! WVU Medicine Fairmont Medical Center is once again partnering with the Salvation Army to bring holiday cheer to children and families in Marion County through the Angel Tree program.

Community members can help make the holidays brighter by “adopting” an angel and purchasing gifts for a local child in need. The Angel Tree is now on display in the hospital’s main lobby — stop by between 6:30 a.m. and 8 p.m. to select a tag and help make Christmas morning special for a child in our community.

💛 Learn more below!

WVU Medicine Fairmont Medical Center (FMC) is asking for the community’s help in its efforts to spread cheer to Marion County children during the holiday season with the return of its Salvation Army Angel Tree.

In keeping with Sunday’s “fall back” time change, today we’re time traveling back to October. Please join us in congratulating FMC’s October Employee of the Month,
Clinical Preceptor Laura Mileto!

Laura has worked at FMC since its opening in June, 2020. She loves that every day is different rrom the last and that she has the opportunity to network with other employees from many departments throughout WVUH.

“I feel everyone here is personally invested in the success of the team and facility as a whole,” she said.

When she’s not at FMC, Laura can be found spending lots of time with her family.

“My son and I love to chase helicopters. I spend many evenings cheering for my daughter in all of her sports (Go Bisons!) As a family, we are also active in our church's music ministry, Girl Scouts and 4-H.”

Thank you for your service and dedication, Laura!
