Domico Funeral Home

Domico Funeral Home We strive to assist each family with their recovery from loss, and to provide an appropriate service that will be meaningful, personal, and affordable.

We are a family owned and operated business with two locations. Our Fairmont Location has been serving the local community for over 50 years. We acquired our Fairview, Curry Chapel location in 1987 which has been in operation since 1923. We are a full service funeral home respectfully dedicated to serving all faiths, offering traditional services, memorial services, cremation services, monument sales and advanced funeral planning. An important part of our dedication is to be ready to meet your needs at all times. Therefore, we are available 24 hours a day to assist each individual family with their recovery from loss, and to provide an appropriate service that will be meaningful, personal and affordable.

Our family has been guiding Fairmont families through some of life’s hardest moments for over 60 years.

We’ll sit with you, walk through every step, and make sure you never feel alone or unsure.

From the first phone call to the final goodbye, we’ll handle the details with care, so you can focus on what really matters: your family and your memories.

The most common misconception we hear about the funeral industry and why we’re different…
We hear it all the time that the funeral industry can feel cold, distant, or sales-driven.
And honestly, that’s not what we’ve ever wanted to be.
Our father/grandfather built this funeral home on trust, not transactions. He believed that if you treat everyone like family, you’ll always do right by people.
That’s the standard we still hold today.
When you walk through our doors, we hope you feel warmth, not pressure; compassion, not confusion. We’re here to guide you, not to sell you something. That’s the difference, and it’s one we’ll always stand by.

So many families come to us feeling overwhelmed, unsure where to start, and afraid of making the wrong decision.

We understand, because we’ve seen how heavy this process can feel. That’s why we take the time to slow things down, explain every step clearly, and make sure you always feel supported.

You don’t have to have all the answers. You just need someone you can trust to help you find them and that’s exactly what we’re here for.

Pre-planning isn’t about fear.
It’s about love. It’s the quiet, practical love that says, “I want to make this easier for the people who matter most to me.”
We’ve seen both sides. Families who are grieving and have to make hard decisions in the middle of heartbreak, and families who feel peace knowing everything was already planned.
That’s why we believe pre-planning is one of the most caring things you can do for your family. It’s not about expecting the worst. It’s about lifting a burden before it ever lands on their shoulders.

There have been a few generations of kids who’ve roamed the chapels and rooms of Domico Funeral Home over the years — but some of the “OGs” are right here in this photo.

This snapshot was taken in the living room upstairs, which just so happens to be where our offices are today.

The hairstyles may have changed, but the heart behind our work hasn’t. ❤️
