What a blessing it is to be able to move your body.

Friends,

I had this thought today: so many of us forget what a gift it truly is. We sit for hours, we let our strength fade, we ignore the cues our body is whispering. We forget that movement is not a burden—it’s an opportunity.

There are people who would give anything to move the way we can. People missing limbs who still find ways to honor the bodies God gave them. They wheel themselves across finish lines. They fight for every inch of progress. They use their blessing, even when it’s hard.

And yet so many of us waste ours.

Your body is not something to punish. It’s something to honor. Something to challenge so it gets stronger. Something to move so it stays mobile. Something to care for now so life becomes easier later.

Do me a favor: take a moment to appreciate the blessing you’ve been given. And then do something—no matter how small—to honor it.

It's Sunday again and that means it's the perfect day to focus on what you've been meaning to accomplish. No matter how big or how small, you can't just *think* about your goals - you have to PLAN for them.

If you know me, you know I 100% believe in the mindset that "IF IT'S IN THE SCHEDULE, IT HAS TO BE DONE" so let's get in the schedule, friends! I promise you it's the first step in gaining some personal accountability - plus, no one ever writes a plan to fail 💯

When I tell you I have the best job in the world...

Today wrapped up another 6-week transformation challenge at the gym and this has been the most fun and dedicated group thus far 💯

It's just a complete honor to work with so many incredible people who are willing to learn new things, try new exercises, and support each other in their endeavors.

Today we crowned Debbie as our newest transformation challenge winner, recognized Tracy and Sam with 2nd and 3rd place respectively, and dubbed Laura the first Lifestyle Award winner 🎉

Thank you to all who participated - it might sound cliché but you all are winners in my book ❤️

And a huge shout-out to North Peak Performance for sponsoring our prizes and providing us with such a nice, safe space to meet and exercise together.

You can’t change what you don’t understand—and once you do, it gets a whole lot easier to make better choices.

There's a 40 lb difference between these two photos...

I used to think eating way less would help me lose weight faster. But what I didn’t know was that severe under-eating can cause your BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate) to slow down—meaning your body burns fewer calories at rest.

When I started fueling my body properly, my energy improved, my workouts got stronger, and progress finally started to feel sustainable.
