Unfortunately, our scary good time looks a little too scary with a thunderstorm rolling in this afternoon. We've been watching the weather closely the last few days and are sad to cancel this wonderful event. We hope you are able to spend the time doing something fun (and dry!) this afternoon.

Most kids like dressing up, especially this time of year 🎃🍂... but have you ever wondered why? Piaget said "Play is the work of children." When children imagine who and what they can be, they are working their brains more than we know 💭

Dress up play encourages empathy (putting ourselves in others' shoes), turn-taking, sharing, and collaboration. It boosts 🚀 imagination and problem solving ❓, teaches leadership skills, and builds confidence and emotional awareness 😄😭😡.

So, encourage your little ones to dress up and put those little minds to work this spooky season!

Struggling with big emotions, parenting burnout, and the start of the busy holiday season? Join us for this virtual 8-session series focused on understanding and supporting challenging behaviors!

In this series, you will learn to understand the "why" behind your child's behavior, how to prevent problem behaviors before they start, ways to respond calmly and consistently to challenging moments, and how to reduce stress and improve communication across your family.

This parent coaching series consists of 8 weekly live online sessions. Join live for interactive learning or watch the recordings anytime in our secure online portal format. Sessions will run on Thursdays 12:00-1:00 PM EST.
