If you've been in a car accident, it's very likely that you experienced whiplash, if not more serious injuries.

UPDATE: In the Sheriff's Office Arrest Report that lists car/deer accidents at the bottom that was released today (Nov. 10), in just the past week, the WCSO reported 20 more accidents involving deer.

The Minnesota State Patrol and Wright County Sheriff’s Office are urging motorists to drive with additional caution – especially around sunrise and sunset – due to an increase in vehicle-deer accidents. Given the number of deer in Minnesota, collisions with vehicles happen year-round, but this time of year is when those accidents historically hit their peak. The combination of the loss of cover crops and rut season has deer on the move, which will be even more pronounced when fi****ms deer season begins in most of the state on Saturday. In a typical week throughout the year, a handful of car-deer accidents take place. Over the last three weeks, the Wright County Sheriff’s Office alone has responded to 45 car-deer accidents – a seasonal spike that happens every year and reason for additional concentration for drivers.

Over the weekend, Dr. Burtis and Monica made a last-minute decision to catch a Wild game! They were already in the Twin Cities and didn't have plans so they thought, "why not?" 🏒

Their younger daughter, Talitha, and son-in-law, Garrett, joined them, and they all got to see Dr. Burtis and Monica's older daughter, Kassondra, hard at work.

Looks like the Burtis family brought the Wild a little luck, as the team snapped a five-game losing streak that night with a 5-2 win! 🏆 Go Wild!
